Read More1. Structure & Material Craftsmanship
This product is built on a classic lid & base (two-piece) rigid gift box construction, featuring a shallow lid over a deep base in a contrasting two-tone colorway — pale celadon on the lid and mint green on the body. The face paper is laminated over a high-density greyboard core, delivering strong structural rigidity with a precise, flush fit between lid and base, smooth opening resistance, and consistent gap tolerances at all four edges.
The box is wrapped in high-grammage coated art paper and finished overall with a soft-touch matte (suede-feel) lamination film, producing a fine micro-textured surface that is fingerprint-resistant, scratch-resistant, and anti-glare — consistent with the warm, understated sensibility of the Neo-Chinese aesthetic.
2. Shaped Window Cut-Out & Transparent Film
The defining structural feature of this box is a precision die-cut shaped aperture on the lid, executed in a traditional ruyi crabapple blossom (haitang) contour. The window edge is clean and burr-free throughout its full perimeter. A transparent APET film panel is bonded flush to the interior of the aperture, maintaining a dust barrier while enabling direct product visibility without opening the box. Film-to-paper adhesion is smooth and bubble-free.
3. Printing & Hot Stamping Finishing
The surface carries four-color offset printing with spot color overprint, reproducing a layered Neo-Chinese court illustration — phoenix, classical architecture, auspicious cloud and floral motifs — in celadon, cinnabar red and warm ivory spot inks. Gradients across cloud formations and eave transitions are rendered in fine halftone for soft tonal passage with no banding or dot gain.
The window frame surround, corner decorative motifs, and central brand plaque lettering are finished in gold electroformed foil hot stamping, delivering high-contrast metallic luster with sharp, no-bleed edges and no skipping or underinking throughout the stamped area.
4. 3D UV Raised Texture & Blind Emboss Relief
Phoenix wing feathers and cloud-scroll areas are processed with blind embossing combined with thick-build raised UV coating, creating a pronounced tactile topography over the printed surface. The interaction between flat printed areas and the raised relief zones produces a layered visual and haptic experience that reinforces the ceremonial quality of the packaging.
5. Ink & Quality Standards
Printed throughout with soy-based low-VOC inks, formulated to meet safety compliance requirements for personal care and daily-use product packaging. All die-cut lines — including the shaped window aperture and straight structural edges — are produced to tight registration tolerances, with clean cuts free of flash, fiber tear or uncut connectors.
